Cheating, plagiarism (including copying homework from other students), will lead to disciplinary action including lunch or after-school detention, deduction of credits, a phone call home, or referral to the Students’ Affairs Director.
(IV) Laboratory
Organizing Homework
- Students will need to buy a folder for organizing their homework (one with 3 pockets for notes, homework and quizzes respectively).
- All the materials in the folder should be arranged with the latest dates on top.
Turn-in
- Homework assignments will be given out to students at the beginning of each chapter and students will turn in their homewok at the end of each chapter.
- Homework should be turned in to the subject representative directly.
Late Work
- Students with approved absences will be responsible to hand in all missed assignments the next class.
- Any late work will not receive full credit.
- Late work beyond 3 days will be marked as incomplete (no credit).

Formatting
- In the upper right hand corner of your assignment, follow this format:

- All assignments must be written on standard college A4 ruled paper.
- Students are encouraged to use pencil.
- Homework must be hand written, not typed.
- All writings must be clear enough for me to read.
Corrections
- Students may be required to redo their homework if the work is of poor quality.
- Students can receive full credit for corrected homework.
- Corrections must be returned to teacher for checking the next day.
(II) Quizzes & Tests
- Students will always have ample time to prepare for their quizzes (at least 3 days notice). Quizzes are usually given on a weekly basis.
- Returned quizzes must be corrected.
(III) Cheating
Cheating, plagiarism (including copying homework from other students), will lead to disciplinary action including lunch or after-school detention, deduction of credits, a phone call home, or referral to the Students’ Affairs Director.
(IV) Laboratory
- Safety is the first priority in the lab. At all times, students are to carefully observe all the lab rules and regulations. Any student who tries to be mischievous will be asked to leave the lab until further notice from the teacher or lab technician.
- Students are not allowed to touch any equipment or chemicals without teacher’s instruction.
- Most experiments require students to work in groups.
- Any equipment damaged intentionally or due to mishandling will require students to pay for its replacement.
- Students are to report straight to teacher or lab technician if they are hurt in any way.
AP Physics(V) Grading
